The RYA is the national governing body for pleasure boating in the UK. It represents the interest of 80,000 personal members and up to 4 million other boat users.
The RYA Windsurfing Division is the national governing body for windsurfing. It is responsible for maintaining standards in RYA recognised centres and developing national training schemes, as well as instructor training programmes and windsurf coaching up to Olympic level.
Seavets is affiliated to the RYA and encourages its members and those wanting to learn to windsurf to go to their nearest RYA Recognised Centre for instruction. The RYA National Training Schemes are recognised world wide for their excellence.
