Brogborough
is, as far as I know, the only lake in the country solely for windsurfers - no
dinghies, canoes or power boats to contend with. It is conveniently placed just
off the M1 east of Milton Keynes, and enjoys clean winds from any direction except
the north. The rigging area is broad and grassy, the atmosphere relaxed, and Tony's
egg'n'bacon butties and homemade cakes to die for!
From junction 13 of the M1 take the A421 to Bedford, after 2 miles you will see the lake on your right. Take the second turning right to Lidlington. The entrance to the club is down there on the right (the green arrow on the map).
