18th - 19th June 2011

Social sailing - meet by Mudeford Harbour at the far end of the grassy area on the right by the water. Remember to bring change for the parking meter; double charge if you have a trailer too. The harbour at Mudeford offers safe flat water with good sea breezes, a perfect location for all standards of windsurfing, and great for practising water starts because there is plenty of waist to shoulder-deep water At the end of the quay there are public toilets, a cafe, a pub and an excellent fresh fish stall if you want to take something back home for dinner.

Chris and Lesley Rowland are in charge, and have kindly offered to host a barbecue on Saturday evening, weather permitting. They will provide salad, potatoes, drinks etc but please BYO meat/fish etc. It it rains, then we shall head for a local hostelry.

From Lyndhurst, take the A35 to Christchurch. Turn left at the first roundabout, then right at the next roundabout. Follow the road for about a mile, round a sharp right-hand bend where the entrance to Avon beach is on the left, then turn left at the (small) sign to Mudeford Quay.
