Meeting
Place: Sandbanks at the lone tree as usual. Members can also sail at Hamworthy
but there is not sufficient parking for everyone. The rigging area remains good.
Parking rates for 2010: £1.50 per hour.. A weekly parking permit

Organization: Members are requested to sign on and off each day at
the camper van flying the Seavets flag (if we are allowed to fly it!). They will
then find out the day's events.
Harbour
Cruise: The island cruising group often lead a cruise one day. It usually
includes Gigger's Island if there is sufficient water. A long board and ability
to beat efficiently is essential. There will be no safety cover and those joining
in do so at their own risk. This year Richard Williams will lead the cruise on
Tuesday, weather permitting.
Windsurfing
Gear: Poole Harbour Board Sailing and H2O are offering a 10% discount at
any time to Seavets (excluding boards).
Accommodation:
Fenn Lodge Hotel at 11 Rosemount Road, Alum Chine, is again offering
accommodation. The charge this year for B & B (double room shared) is £28

Campsites are
available in the Poole area. Convenient are the Beacon Hill Touring Park (website:

Tel. 01202 631631) on the A350 north of the junction with the A35 about 3 miles
west of Poole, and Merley Court Touring Park (website:
http://www.merley-court.co.uk/, Tel. 01590 648331) just off the roundabout
at the A31/A349 junction on the Wimborne by-pass.
Social:
There will be the usual dinner at "Funchal by Night" on Wednesday, meeting
at 7.30pm for dinner at 8.00pm. The price will be £20 excluding drinks.
