Celebration of the Life of Joyce Heywood, 11am, Sunday 1st August 2021

If you would like to say something at the celebration, please let us know.

Music and reflections in the Gathering Hall at 11 am will be followed by scattering of ashes.

Then we will enjoy some of Joyce’s favourite foods together, sitting outside or picnicking in

the park:

Fish and chips (vegetarian option available)

Ronaldo’s ice cream (vegan option available)

Tea, coffee, cold drinks.


Please let us know (email to k.heywood@uea.ac.uk or phone 07515 853 028) if you are planning to join us, so that we can get numbers for catering. Also please note whether you requirevegetarian or vegan food.


Well behaved dogs are allowed. There is plenty of parking. There are toilet facilities on site.

There is some shelter in the Gathering Hall in case of heavy rain! We will be outside most of

the time so please dress accordingly, casual is fine; it’s a woodland park. Please feel free to

celebrate Joyce’s love of jolly colours by wearing something bright and cheerful!

Obviously this is subject to government restrictions, but regardless of those restrictions or

otherwise, we would like to keep everyone as safe as possible.

• Please wear a mask or face covering, unless you are exempt.

• There won’t be any singing!

• We will be outside most of the time.

• Please be vaccinated if you are eligible.
