Ten sailors joined the racing at Farmoor on a typical summers day of light and shifty wind. IN addition to the usual suspect it was good to see Tony Goodwin back and also Brian Tilbury who arrived for lunch and the afternoon. The shifty nature of the wind meant the fleet was often quite spread over the sailing area, and a shift at the start of race 1 caught both John Chubb and myself out as we hit the gate boat and were duly disqualified. Tony's absence seems to have done him good as he soon returned to the front of the fleet winning the last 2 races, and taking top place overall. Richard also sailed well to take second place.
