New Year 21/22

Year of twenty one, is about to be gone,

It seems to have gone on far too long,

Started with covid lock down,

Gave us hope in summer sun,

Closed the year in a ghastly covid gown.

Let us now, put that all behind,

And look forward with cheery minds,

To do the things we want to do,

All, join together, kick the covid menace into the blue,

And no more, a life to live in fear,

To all I wish a GREAT NEW YEAR.
