Eight Seavets arrive at Farmoor to a sunny morning with a gentle breeze, certainly enough for racing. In practice the wind held and improved once we got underway. Initial concerns about sharing the lake with several courses and summer activity groups proved unfounded and we managed to find a course which worked well in the N to NW breeze. The strength in the gusts was enough to get planing and the strength in the lulls was low enough to drop several people backwards into the water. The results below show that Andy and Russ were competing for the top spot, with Russ winning the first three races. Adrian and Kerry tussled for 3rd place with Kerry come out on top, and Joe, Richard and myself fighting out the lower order places. Generally the fleet was close together and the wind help up nicely to provide our best racing this year. No photos I am afraid but here are the results:
