To find Burghfield SC, leave the M4 at Junction 12, head south-west on the A4. Cross the roundabout and about 400 yards later take the sliproad off left and follow the signs to Theale Station. Leave the station on the left, go over the railway heading for Sherfield Bottom and Burghfield. The club is on the left about 400 yds after the light-controlled canal bridge.
There is a 6' 6" width restriction on the Kennet and Avon canal. If you are coming in a wide vehicle follow these instruction. From J12 of the M4, head east on the A4 signed Reading centre for two miles. Speed cameras. Turn right at the traffic lights just past the Shoulder of Mutton pub, signposted to Burghfield. Continue on this road and over the M4 (one mile). Take the right turn signed to Theale (ignore the width restriction sign). After two miles turn right at the roundabout just past the Fox & Hounds.
There is also a height restriction barrier of 2.2m which is kept closed at all times at the entrance to the Club. Please approach with caution when turning in. Further information will be given prior to an event at the Club.
