John McMillan

I have recently received an email from John's niece Keren, to say that "John passed away peacefully on Monday at Shelbourne Lodge Care Home in High Wycombe, aged 90 where he had been a resident for the last couple of years."

Many of you will remember John who joined the Seavets committee in 1995 and finally retired from windsurfing and Seavets in 2019. For much of that time he was our Events Administrator, putting together race packs for events which, in the early days, involved a lot of photocopying, and later printing from his computer, and then distributing them together with medals to each event manager. It must have been really time consuming, but typically, John just got on quietly with the job.

His funeral will be in February and if you would like to attend please ask me or Steve for details and let Keren know that you intend to go.
