Nine Seavets came to the Farmoor on 3rd July despite the forecast of low winds. Nick Kidd used his knowledge to explain the instability of wind speed and direction with a dead stop at times and a little planing in the afternoon.. We were sitting in a high-pressure region with four lows around it. Beating conditions were encountered on three of the legs of the afternoon quadrilateral course.
Nick excelled by winning all four races with Richard Williams and Tony Goodwin scrapping it out for second overall.
