Gentle Breezes - Farmoor 3 October

It was a lovely sunny morning as 8 sailors rigged up for the final event of our summer Farmoor series. The direction (ENE) was less than ideal but the forecast 8 to 9 mph with occasional gusts looked promising. And so it turned out with four races completed for the first time this summer at Farmoor. Because of the shifty nature of the wind Joe set a triangular course on the west side of the lake. Simon sailed well to take the top slot after a win and 2 seconds in the first three races, closely followed by Tony and Richard (who missed the afternoon races).


Overall an excellent way to complete our summer sailing - provisional results below:
