Burghfield Racing rounds off the 2019 season

Old joke: what do you call a calm day followed by six windy ones? Yes the Seavets Championships.

In fact there was just enough wind to have a good day's sailing with each of the four races closely contested, with places changing throughout. We had great Race Officers from Burghfield (Chris and Nigel) who managed to set a course and tweak it as the wind shifted during the day. A link to the results is above and shows Nick KIdd in the top spot, but a special mention should be made for Richard Williams who won the second race and did well enough in the others to push Andy into third slot overall. It was also good to see Alan Jackson who joined us for lunch: hope to see him on the water next year.
